There is no data available for this number. This could be either because
this is not a BT line or this is a new number that is not yet recognised by
this checker. If this is a new number it may take up to 42 days from the
date of installation before it is recognised. If you still get this response
after this time please send an email through the "contact us" option on the
BT.com homepage, raising this issue, and we will investigate for you.

Our records show that we are using a fibre phone line technology to supply
phone service to your address. Unfortunately as a result of this you will
not be able to receive Broadband ADSL service for the time being, even if
your local exchange has been upgraded with Broadband ADSL.

dependent technology and can only be provided on a combined underground
cable
and telephone distance of approximately 5km; as the total distance to your
premises
is longer than this we're unable to provide the service.

Conclusion
Most Monkston respondents had a "Fibre Report".
"...you will not be able to receive Broadband ADSL service for the time
being..." doesn't give much direction!
Clearly my card is marked: I have the "no data" report for my line.
Troublemaker!
